Ely Cathedral is the Mother Church of the Diocese of Ely and the seat of the Bishop. We are an inclusive community that welcomes all people. We have a rich pattern of worship which is strengthened by our excellent tradition of choral music. 

Worship has been offered to Almighty God on this site for nearly 1400 years and the Cathedral continues to be a dynamic witness to the presence of God in the world, and of his love and care for each and every one of us.

At the heart of the life of the Cathedral is the ongoing patten of morning prayer, the Eucharist and Evensong. Prayer and worship are the bedrock of all we do. The style of worship tends to be formal using establised patterns of prayer to help us grow together into the mystery of God. All are welcome at Ely Cathedral.

St Mary's is an Evangelical Parish Church with a variety of service styles to enable everyone to find a spiritual home to worship in.

Alpha runs regularly for those exporing the Christian Faith.

We have Children & Youth provision from Creche to 18years on a Sunday at 10.30, a 15+ Cell group, and other regular Youth events.

Other Activities include Small Groups, Prayer Meetings, Senior Citizen's Fellowship (Monday Club), Mothers' Union and Refresh (a group for young mums).

A Newcomers Course is designed to help new members settle in.

The Church of St Peter-in-Ely is a Proprietary Chapel within the Church of England Diocese of Ely and, as such, it has no specific parish area. It was founded in 1889 by Catharine Maria Sparke as a mission church for the people of Ely's riverside area. Today, the congregation is drawn not only from Ely but also the neighbouring villages and further afield. 

The weekly Sung Celebration of the Holy Eucharist on Sundays follows the Anglo Catholic liturgical tradition with traditional language, incense, congregational singing of Merbecke's Communion Setting and hymns from the New English Hymnal. Additional services are held in Advent, at Christmas and in Holy Week. 

Everyone is warmly invited to attend worship here and to meet together afterwards for tea or coffee in the Church Rooms adjacent to the church.
